Pacific West Lath & Plaster, Inc. has a designated Safety Committee, comprised of line-level, supervisor, management and officer level employees.  The mission of the Pacific West Lath & Plaster, Inc. Safety Committee is to develop and promote a healthy and safe environment for all employees and visitors to our business office, job sites, driving routes and to promote healthy individual choices, maximizing employee effectiveness while minimizing exposure to risk and incidents. It is our mission to include and involve all employees with regards to training, communication and safe work practices. IF UNSAFE CONDITIONS OR PRACTICES ARE OBSERVED.

Company and Customer Benefits of historically high safety ratings:

*Experience Modification Rating (EMR) is considerably lower than average industry standards.

*All insurance carrier ratings are A+

Creating this culture at Pacific West has developed by following these practices:

        *Defining Management & Employee Responsibilities

*Safe Production Planning (pre, during and post job)

*Weekly Workplace Safety Training

*Solid Communication

*Worker Participation & Involvement

*Proper Reporting & Investigation Procedures

*Trade and Production Training

We stress practicing safety everywhere.

If we only practice safety when we show up for work, we are not creating a culture.

SAFETY MATTERS - EVERYDAY, EVERYWHERE.
